Every competing school in the meet were all made aware of what kind of competitors NCAP Green Rangers are. NCAP pupils/students competing in academic, cultural and athletics events all made significant showings in their respective events. Luise Gayle Sangalang took the gold in the high school level spelling event while Renz Marchus Cruz took the silver medal for the level 1 event. Dixie Mae Cristobal was a back-to back champion in the high school vocal solo competition. In the athletics event, Charisse Clarin reigned supreme in the high school badminton girls event and proudly wore the gold medal in the medals ceremony. For more of the results of NCAP's participation for this year's BulPriSA District Meet, please visit the school for the posting of the result at the bulletin board.
But the grit and grind, no-surrender attitude of NCAP Green Rangers was truly showcased in the championship game of the high school basketball team against the team they fought against. The Green Rangers fought 3 overtime periods before bowing down on a very controversial 2-point defeat. It was obvious during the game that the opposing team had several home court advantages even in referee calls. But despite that, the Green Rangers had a heart of thankfulness to God for the opportunity to reach the finals even if it ended in a questionable defeat. What the team did unknowingly was unite the NCAP community, pupils/students past and present, parents/guardians and faculty/staff as they cheered them up to the end. For that, the team won more than the championship trophy... they won the hearts of many, including people from other schools.
We recognize that whatever achievements NCAP garnered in this year's competitions, we could not have achieved them if not for the grace of God. And so, we give God all the glory and praise for the success of every NCAP Green Ranger in this year's BulPriSA District Meet.
